People often feel that they only need cardio to lose weight; however, strength training will help tone muscles, increase your metabolism, and help keep your bones strong. Stretching is also a key element to exercise that is often left out due to time, but is very essential to preventing injury. The best time to stretch is after a short warm up and after you exercise. Warm muscles are less likely to get injured and you are able to get a much better stretch. The first step is to get off the couch, put on your shoes and go for a walk. |
