Why Gatorade Can Be the Next Best Thing

Gatorade is great for those who participate in sports, especially in hot weather climates. This is because Gatorade helps to keep your body hydrated, so that it can continue to perform at its best. However, Gatorade can also be good for those who are on a diet, active children, or anyone who wants to lead a healthier lifestyle.

For dieters and health fanatics, it will still help to keep things moving in your system (people in these categories usually consume a much healthier level of fiber than most adults); for active children, it will help to keep them hydrated (just like athletes) without bombarding their system with sugar from soda pops, juices, and flavored drinks.

You should be getting 64oz to 96oz of water per day for lightly active adults. Even more water should be consumed by those who are heavily active several times per week. The problem is that many people do not like the taste of water, even with lime in it. When you are forced to consume something that you don't like, you are less likely to get as much of it as you need.

For these reasons, Gatorade can be a good substitute because it can be more beneficial to your body than soda pop and has less sugar than most juices and flavored drinks. You should still get a good amount of regular water per day, but drinking Gatorade can help give you a bit of variety while still providing your body with many benefits.
