Two Great Tasting South Beach Diet Meals

When on the South Beach diet, there are many tasty meals that you can make to keep on track with your weight loss goals. Not only that, but this diet also helps you eat healthier by replacing refined grains with whole grains. Below are two great tasting South Beach diet meals for you to enjoy.

BBQ Chicken Breast with Broccoli and a Whole Wheat Roll:

  • For this meal you need: South Beach Diet Meal
    • boneless skinless chicken breasts,
    • fresh broccoli,
    • whole wheat rolls,
    • Smart Balance margarine, honey,
    • and your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • Bake the boneless skinless chicken breasts as directed, sprinkling on any herbs and spices that you like. Once finished, top with the BBQ sauce of your choice.
  • Wash, cut, and steam the broccoli under tender. Top with Smart Balance margarine and pepper.
  • Bake the whole wheat rolls until browned. Take out and immediately top with Smart Balance margarine and honey.

Whole Wheat English Muffin Egg and Bacon Breakfast Sandwich:

  • For this meal you need:
    • a whole wheat English muffin,
    • one egg,
    • one to two strips of bacon,
