Do Carb Blocker Diet Pills Really Work?

There is much debate circulating about whether or not carb blocker diet pills truly work the way they claim to work. Scientists and doctors tend to agree that carb blocker diet pills do not work. In fact, there is no single carb blocker diet pill that is approved by the Food and Drug Administration, which means that every carb blocker diet pill is a potential health hazard to your body.

The claim amongst the manufacturers of carb blocker diet pills is that when you consume a carbohydrate blocker diet pill, the pill works within your blood steam to block fat-causing carbohydrate from infiltrating your cells. In reality, there is no verifiable scientific proof that the pills work in this manner. Here's why:

Carbohydrate are forms of energy that are found in foods. Some foods, such as pasta and breads, are known to have a high amount of carbohydrate in them, whereas other foods, such as vegetables, have a lower amount of carbohydrates in them. When you consume a high carbohydrate food, your body takes all of the unused energy and stores it in the fat cells. Therefore, many athletes like to eat a carbohydrate-rich meal prior to engaging in competition.

Carbohydrate blocker pills claim that they stop the carbohydrate from reaching your fat cells. In reality, if those carbohydrates did not reach your blood cells, you would suffer from an extreme lack of energy. It is essential to your health that you are able to maintain a high level of energy not only so that you can perform daily functions throughout your day, but also so that your body functions properly. Without carbohydrate, your heart would not have energy to pump.

Before taking a carbohydrate blocker pill, it is important for you to understand the chemistry and balance of your body. Taking pills may harm you more than benefit you over the long-term. Therefore, it's a good idea to consult a medical practitioner before engaging in a carbohydrate blocker diet.
