Info on Diets

You can't eat Didrex pills as if they were candies.

Didrex is available only on a prescription, and for a good reason. This potent diet pill didrexcontains benzamphetamine hydrochloride, a distant cousin of amphetamine that is anorexic in action, minimize the hunger and thus reduce the calorie intake. Each pill has 50 mg of benzamphetamine hydrochloride. The pill works by stimulating the release of norepinephrine and dopamine thereby reducing the feeling of hunger. However, the full role of Didrex in reducing the obesity has yet been fully researched.

Regardless of the the fact that we are not completely sure how Didrex works, we can be sure of one thing: benzamphetamine hydrochloride really does 100% of what it is supposed to do. It is commonly used in short-term therapies of obesity, usually as a part of diet regime aimed at decreasing the calorie intake. However despite its usefulness, it must not be used as the main or long-term way of fighting overweight. Why? The reason is simple - the side effects.

The side effects of Didrex include the following:

  • high possibility of addiction (Didrex is a habit-inducing drug),
  • restlessness,
  • anxiety,
  • continuous headaches,
  • insomnia,
  • palpitations,
  • impotence or altered libido.

It is also not recommended to drive or do anything hazardous during the Didrex therapy, as the drug may alter both your perception and body reactions. The maximum length of the therapy must not exceed 12 weeks, regardless of the effects, and generally should be kept under 9 weeks.

Before you start the Didrex therapy. Tell your doctor about your health condition, benzamphetamine hydrochloride may not be used for people who:

  • have a drug history
  • suffer from any hearth disease or hypertension
  • are diabetics
  • suffer from glaucoma
  • have thyroid problems

In short, Didrex is a potent medication capable of slimming you a few stones in two or three months. However, due to its various side effects and precautions, it must be taken under strict control, for a short time and for a good reason. You must not force the prescription from your doctor - if he/she doesn't offer it to you, he/she does it for a good reason.
