Feel more healthy With a Fiber rich diet

Whether you want to drop pounds or gain energy, a high fiber diet is a healthy way to go. Fibers are found naturally in fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains. Here are a few reasons to add more fiber to your diet:

Fibers makes you feel fuller faster. Because of its bulk, fibers can fill you up faster than other foods, and help you feel satisfied for a longer period of time. Your body takes more time to digest fiber, so you won't feel get the urge to snack between meals. This means fiber makes weight loss easier all around.

Fibers can clean out your system. Acting almost like a broom, some types of fibers will fibersmove through your system quickly, "sweeping" along all the other foods as it goes. This means that fat moves through you faster, so less will be absorbed into your body. You'll also avoid constipation and other intestinal conditions.

Fibers in your diet decreases your chances of developing many serious medical conditions. Lower your cholesterol and body fat, and you'll lower your risk of heart disease, diabetes, intestinal problems, and some types of cancer.

If your diet has been relatively low in fibers up to now, start increasing your intake slowly at first to help you avoid uncomfortable gas pains or bloating. Eat a variety of high-fiber foods, and make sure to drink plenty of water because fibers will pull water from your intestines as it moves along.
