Phosphatidycholine: Vitamin Supplement for the Liver

Phosphatidycholine is a vitamin supplement that is specifically a great source of choline, a B vitamin that helps the human body in multiple ways. Phosphatidycholine (shortened to PC for convenience sake) is a critical vitamin for cell membranes and is relied on heavily for both brain and liver functions. Its part in the liver's work is to help break down fats.

PC breaks down fat deposits in the body, which makes it helpful in the prevention of gallstones, atherosclerosis, heart disease, and liver problems. This alone would make it a fantastic vitamin supplement to add to your daily regimen, but even beyond that further laboratory studies showed that Phosphatidycholine is beneficial in depression, memory loss, and certain neurological disorders.

It is still in the liver where PC is most effective. By helping to break down fats it is obviously helpful to he healthy dieter, but it is even more important for just general liver health and function. Most liver metabolism occurs on cell membranes, and PC protects the liver against damage from alcoholism, pharmaceuticals, viruses, and other toxic influences. What does this mean? Basically this means that as the liver is very much responsible for keeping the human body healthy, it needs help as it is confronted with literally hundreds, if not thousands, of different substances that might otherwise be harmful to the body.

The PC supplement is a much safer means for refurbishing the nutrients needed by the liver than choline itself. PC is fully compatible with pharmaceuticals, and with other nutrients, so there is no mixing of prescriptions or anything along those lines that would cause legitimate concern. Just adding even a little PC can help your entire body function healthier and you will notice the difference not only in the way you look, but in the way you feel.
