Propolene weight loss pills do work, but not as well as they should.

What is in Propolene? The main ingredient of these pills is Propol, that is the trademarked name of glucomannan, a water-soluble fiber. Glucomannan fiber is an excellent water absorber that can take even 200 its own weight in water. This ability is thought to be responsible for most important weight loss effects of this fiber. However, in addition to the weight loss effects, glucomannan shows also other major positive health effects like:

  • lowering the LDL cholesterol level,
  • improving the lipid profile,
  • lowering the blood sugar level.

These make Propolene suitable for all people who suffer from diabetes (type 2) in addition to overweight problems.

The most important side-effect of Propolene weight loss pills is the glucomannan's Propolene pillsability to bind not only water, but also certain other elements. This greatly reduces the amount of vitamins and minerals we intake, as most of them are intercepted by Propolene. This forces the patients to use extra multivitamin and mineral food additives prior to taking Propolene or they risk serious vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

The point is, however, that Propolene weight loss pills are unable to make you lose weight all by themselves. They require the diet change and some exercising program. There are several reasons for that. The most important are:

Propolene pills do not actually help you burn fat, they only decrease the amount of food you eat. You will still need some exercises to change your situation for good.

If you resign from changing your eating habits, you will risk the yo-yo effect as soon as you decide to stop taking the pills.

Without a change in your lifestyle, you will risk further increasing the volume of your stomach, making the treatment less and less effective.

The bottom line: unlike many other OTC weight loss drugs, Propolene really works, though not nearly as well as its manufacturers claim (Propolene is over-advertised, a common problem in case of weight loss drugs). You can expect it to help you eat less, but the pills surely won't do all the job for you.
